Here are the basic requirements you need to meet to get into Nevada colleges.
Community College Requirements
- High school graduate or General Education Development (GED)
State College Requirements
- High school graduate or General Education Development (GED)
- At least 18 years old
- GPA score of at least 2.0
University Requirements
- High school graduate
- At least 18 years old
- ACT/SAT completion or GPA score of 3.0 (weighted) in the required high school courses for admission, including four years of English, three years of math (algebra I or higher), three years of science with at least two years of lab science, and three years of social science. Note that these requirements are slightly different than those for the Millennium Scholarship, so be sure to know the difference.
Although these are the basic requirements for each type of school, acceptance into these institutions are on a case by case basis.
